A quarter of a century is a long period of time. However, it's not long enough to keep Audi enthusiasts such as those at DFW Audi from remembering all the glory that surrounded Walter Röhrl's conquering of Pikes Peak. Nearly 25 years ago, the legendary rally and auto racing driver set a world record by ascending the formidable peak in an Audi Sport Quattro S1 in a mere ten minutes and forty-eight seconds.

As we move further and further into 2012, buzz surrounding autos for the next model year grows louder and louder. Don't get us wrong. DFW Audi is extremely enthused to see what our favorite luxury automaker has in store for its 2013 Audi lineup. For quite some time now, the popular social media venue known as Twitter has offered users the chance to communicate and connect with friends, fellow consumers and even famous people. Last year, however, a handful of tweeters got more than simply a sense of social sharing from the site. Using Twitter, they received a brand-new Audi R8.

For the 2013 model year, Audi is serving up a variety of delectable sedan options all under the Audi A3 name. And auto consumers from the United States to Europe are already itching to get a bite.

When Audi engineers create a new and innovative automotive technology, they think big. The luxury automaker built an A8 Hybrid but decided not to release it in the United States. Why? Because they have a much better solution for reducing fuel consumption.

Ever day-dreamed about getting chauffeured around in a swanky limousine day in and day out? Come on, be honest. We sure have! It's not that we at DFW Audi don't love holding the wheel and harnessing the power of any new Audi vehicle on our own. It's just that it would be nice to have a stretched-out luxury mobile take you from place to place whenever you want...especially if that "luxury mobile" happens to be an ultra-fast Audi R8 Limousine.

Ever driven in a new Audi model and been blown away by the ease at which you can see the road at night? If so, that's entirely due to the automaker's LED stroke of genius. Back in 2008, Audi completely transformed the way we see at night with its premier LED headlamps in the Audi R8. Since then, we've been able to enjoy the lighting technology across most models. But DFW Audi would like to take a minute and illuminate you on how LED works so incredibly well.
